Clearing Snow from a Roof

In the past, it was often necessary to manually remove the snow from roofs that were not adequately slanted.

You can still see some houses with ladders that lead to the roof so people can climb up and manually remove the snow. This of course is very dangerous. Luckily such houses are becoming more and more uncommon.

Below are some photos of ladders leading to roofs and some people manually removing the snow from roofs.
