A Message of Peace

The Japanese word for peace (平和 heiwa) is written in huge Japanese characters displayed on the ski slopes at the Hakkai Sanroku Ski Area located in Minamiuonuma, Niigata Japan.

This winter’s ski season has officially ended at the Hakkai Sanroku Ski Area located here in Minamiuonuma, Niigata Japan.

With the grounds now closed during the offseason, the staff have taken the opportunity to adorn the slopes with the Japanese word for peace (平和 heiwa).

The message of peace is written in huge Japanese characters displayed on the snow covered slope.

It is an extraordinary measure and heartwarming message.

May there be peace, consideration, and kindness everywhere.
